Rotaract Club of Chitwan & Patan Durbar Square

Dental Care
on Saturday, 20th January 2007, participated in Joint Dental
Camp organized by Rotaract Club of Chitwan & Rotary club of Patan
Durbar Square at Patan, Mangalbazar, next to Krishna mandir. All
together 150 people were undergone check-up and minor extraction were also
carried out. Dr. Manisha Singh, Dr. Leeza Pradhan, Ms. Pinky
Gurung, Ms. Sarada Shakya and Ms. Sarmila Shrestha were involved from 11
AM to till 2PM.
Majority
of the people lack general awareness on basic oral hygiene (proper regular
brushing, improper diet etc.), which was one of the remarks made by
doctors.
Camp
was followed by lunch program with a general discussion on the overall
program. President of Rotract Club of Patan Durbar Square said that on may
13 2007, certificate will be distributed as a token of appreciation in the
regular formal program. |

Participated
in Dental Camp for Winter Camp organized by Welhams School, Jawalakhel,
Laltipur
Dr. Manisha Singh
along with Ms. Pinky Gurung from Kumari Dental Care participated in
dental Check-up camp organized by Welhams School, Jawalakhel,
Lalitpur in its own premises on 17 January 2007. 35 students from
different school who were there in the winter camp were undergone
check-up. Before check-up, Doctor interacted with all children and gave
basic important dental tips.
Around 90 per cent of the children
have tooth decay problem which is caused due to improper food habit,
doctor said.
