Dear Doctor
I discovered from a circular sent to
my office that you have been heading Kumari Dental Care - many
congratulations!
I received treatment from you in
March-April 2004, when National was in the process of moving
from its old location to the new building. After performing
half of my root canal treatment at the old location, you had successfully
completed it in the new building, where I was among the first
patients to be treated. At the time, the new building was not yet
sufficiently equipped, and doctors and nurses were taking time
getting used to climbing all those stairs of a tall building!
I remember that when my surgery
was over, you had asked me to bite on a cotton pad for fifteen
minutes. In doing that, I could not even say 'thank you' before
leaving. After my 'biting time' was over, I went back to thank
you, but you were treating another patient. Not wanting to
barge in and disturb, I left without saying a word. However,
that feeling of gratitude still remains. I last saw you over a
year ago, when one my other teeth required a minor filling. My
crown is in good form, and I haven't suffered another serious
dental problem.
I remember you for your polite and
gentle nature and feel every doctor should be like you. The house
where I live now belongs to a dentist, who runs a small private
clinic on the ground floor. I have only just moved in, so don't
know much. But when I met him briefly last Sunday, I was
telling him about you (as my only dentist so far).
Then some of my own friends are now dentists. In all these people,
I see a Dr. Manisha Singh; I so want them to be like you.
Today, I viewed the website of
your new clinic and felt so proud that my dental surgeon had
been directly associated with it. I will, of course,
visit KDC some time. Meanwhile, may you be able to continue
the wonderful service to your countless patients and
restore happy smiles to their faces. All the best to both yourself
and KDC!
I would like to close by saying a long due
thank you, which I had not been able to say in April 2004,
due to my mouth being shut (but heart being grateful).
Look forward to seeing you some time.
In gratitude and with best regards.
Hikmat
